This eco-friendly garden homes are all made from reclaimed lumber, in what looks to be great craftsmanship.  I am definitely considering one of the bat houses, which costs $85.  The bee houses are also of interest, though I am not quite sure what you do with a full bee house at the end of the summer?

Interesting, if expensive ($2600), solution to biking with kids.  Three speeds, disc brakes up front, parking brake, and can eventually convert to standalone bike or more typical stroller.  Currently not available in the U.S.

I first saw these in O magazine, and have since thought they were a good idea.  I don’t do any exercises with weights, but I really should.  These are apparently more efficient to work with than dumbbells, because of the off-balance design.  The smallest 5lb. one is $25 a piece.
